They are very nice people that run these clean rooms. Nicer than I ever expected.
We stayed here to attend a wedding at Elmhurst on Friday. Plus the wife and I love old motels....much more character compared to the chains. The good...very good price compared to the other hotels in the area.....only $107 all in. They allowed us to check in at noon to get ready for the wedding which started at 3pm. Location was also great right off the 401. Though dated the rooms were relatively clean, and there was Bell ExpressVu available. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The bad....and I have to remove a star for this but the air-conditioning unit leaked. We had it off during the day when we were out of the room. We came back around midnight and I turned on the ac. I woke up around 3am to the sound of dripping water. Walking to the bathroom I stepped on the wet carpet floor. We used the towels provided to try to soak up the water and turned off the AC. It was an uncomfortable sleep as it was a warm night. In the morning the owner was very apologetic. In the end....if you're looking for a decent priced place just to crash....worth the price. But if you're picky I'd steer clear.
Visited nights of August 19 and 20, 2022. Found a clean & tidy room # 6 in this circa 2000 built motel. Friendly owner lives on site. Room needs a few extension cords for our electronic gear and better lighting over the sink. Air conditioning is O.K. but rather difficult to control and set temperature. Altogether good value for the money and it has a small refrigerator and microwave plus coffee maker, so well equipped with free WiFi. REB from Ottawa.

Honestly,the owners are not young but they have the place in very decent shape! The price were not bad,pretty clean,so I’d 100% recommended this place,y’all are doing a very good job with the place!

Needed a place to stay overnight due to a family funeral- the motel was clean, A/C worked well, bed clean and comfy and the price was great! Thank you - made the reason for our trip a bit easier knowing they would accommodate when we arrived late in the evening.
